Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses comprise a large and essential component of the health professions workforce in Wisconsin. Since 2010, nurses have been mandated by Wisconsin State Statute (WSS 106.30) to complete a survey to gather information important to health professions workforce planning as part of their licensure renewal process. The reports listed present the findings from the analyses of the surveys administered by the State of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
As a member of the National Forum of Nursing Workforce Centers, WCN recognizes the work of this organization to provide resources for systematic data collection on the nursing workforce.
