Andres Gonzalez
Vice president of community engagement and chief diversity officer, Froedtert Health
Gonzalez, who has worked at Froedtert since 2015, chairs a Milwaukee-area initiative in which employers pledge to increase the number of Black and Hispanic or Latino employees in the metropolitan area. By the end of its fiscal 2023, Froedtert had boosted workforce diversity by 25% and leadership diversity by 63% compared with 2018, going beyond the goals outlined by the initiative. Gonzalez founded and served as the first president of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives’ Wisconsin Chapter. He also helped launch the Hispanic Healthcare Summit, along with chairing the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership’s Racial and Health Equity Council.
