Robin Wolzenburg Featured Twice on Immigration

We are proud to share that our Senior Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory, Robin Wolzenburg, was featured in the news not once, but twice this week for her insight and leadership on one of the most important topics facing our field—immigration and the refugee workforce in long-term care.

As the national conversation around workforce shortages intensifies, Robin is quickly becoming a leading voice on the growing role that immigrants and refugees can play in addressing critical staffing gaps across the aging services sector. Her thoughtful commentary and deep knowledge of clinical operations, regulatory frameworks, and workforce development are helping shape both policy and perception.

In two separate media stories this week, Robin emphasized the importance of building supportive pathways for refugees to enter and thrive in long-term care roles. She highlighted the mutual benefits these efforts bring—offering meaningful employment to individuals seeking safety and stability—while helping providers deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

“They’re hard workers. They want the American dream,” Wolzenburg said. “I think we as long term care providers can help offer them that.”

Robin’s voice continues to elevate the conversation around inclusive workforce solutions, and we are incredibly proud of her efforts to advocate for policies and practices that strengthen care delivery across the country.
